First of All, allow me to seek your forgiveness, should this endeavor trespasses your being or infringe your privacy. This is my personal endeavor to present a website on my life experiences as a Muslim, the trials, tribulations, and, inshaAllah, triumphs of one individual Muslim. As a Muslim, each and every one of us, is responsible to inform others about good and bad things. As one of our Holy Prophet’s Hadith states that one has to seek knowledge, even if one has to go the ends of China, a country with a proud records of traditions and heritage. I remember a Chinese Muslim proverb about one’s love of Islam, about the Zhu and the Shengren.
It says,
ZHU - If you Believe in Allah, transform yourself
SHENGREN - If you believe in the Holy Prophet, awaken the people of the World.
Through this web site, I will try tell a story vis-à-vis my experiences and others too, so that I can live with myself and ultimately face Allah SWT in the next prayer and profess
"Inasalati wanusuki wamah yaya wamamati…"
Ya Allah, allow me to live this life in Islam and die in Iman.
Ahuzubillah n Bismillah (Arab wordings)
At a tender age of 5 yrs young (1959), my late grandmother said that the family WAFAK ring would be given to me when I reached the age of 12 yrs or so. But along those nurturing years, especially so during the early suboh prayers, she and my late mother used to tell me stories about my ancestors, their lives, the mission in life as well as their deeds that are practically an epitome to be a good Muslim and to die in Iman. All these years, I just took those story times as just folklore. After 1997, I undertake a task to find out more, because money can be earned and a lot of other things can be bought and sold, but heritage is blood, sweat and tears ingrained in the passage of time. Now in the year 2000, I had found out that my ancestor by the name of Hj Abdul Shukor bin Abdul Manaf sculptured the wafak ring about 100 years ago. He did it with a lot of painstaking effort, time and love through the practice of fasting, imbued with prayers / wirid in the Holy Land of Mecca and Medina and alhamdullilah with the blessings of Allah SWT, a passage of beliefs and practices that can only bring oneself closer to Allah SWT. Insha Allah.
Thus, this labour of love begins, this quest, the building of my family’s salasilah, as all of us have the same grandfather and grandmother, the Holy Prophet Adam and his wife Siti Hawa. It is done with the hope that we can understand Islam and the Sunnah better, but most importantly, as we professed at least 5 times a day, towards the living of one’s life as a Muslim and inshaAllah to leave this world only in the state of Iman.
Quote:
"Innassalati wanusuki wamah yaya wamamarti…" (arab wordings)
It is my hope that all my brethren can contribute towards this effort, so that our roots can be known, understood and valued. Because without heritage, life is quite empty. Once the kindred spirit is there, we can always build on it as a network thereafter as enterprising business network, because, our Holy Prophet once said that 90% of all rezki comes from business enterprise, but let’s not forget also, that 90% of the gates to Hell are also reserved for businessmen. Let’s network and try to build this world into a better place for us and our children as Allah’s Khalifa’s. InshaAllah.
Why Now ???
Amongst the stories that was told to me by my late grandmother, in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s were; The dissolution of a great country up north without a shot being fired and thereafter the emergence of Muslim majority countries from there… The USSR and Khazakhstans… and Islam will... The Loss of Baital Makdis to the Jews and practically the daily massacre of Muslim that go un-noticed are we Muslims now the Dajjal Al-Masihi closing one eye towards what is happening ???
Blood is spilled in the Holy city of Mecca in 1979 (where I performed my Hajj in that year ) and 2003. Islam and the image of Muslims are so bad that … the September 11th episode and the aftermath. Dajjal Al Masihi will take over Baghdad, then … The Hajj is getting shorter and there are pilgrims just treating them like a holiday. I am at a cross road, I will take up the jihad to defend the rights of a couple of Orphans (anak yatim). The last time I took up the challenge, the adversaries sent a very powerful Shaitan spirit and attempted to kill me as I was driving back from K.L to Singapore. The spirit attacked all along the 300 km journey, hitting, punching, poking and blurring my eyes, you name it, he tried it, so that I’ll drive the car over the edge. Shukor Alhamdullilah I survived the journey and that Shaitan is now at a very special place. Right now I know my adversaries have already gone into first gear. Please pray for me, for if I do not take this up, I will not be able to face Allah SWT in the next prayer. Wassalamulaikum.
There are other stories, but the above-mentioned are very indicative to our present time.
Please note that some of the above stories are found in some Kitabs or even in the Holy Quran and Sunnah, it seemed that some of us just conveniently tend to forget them.
What is very evident to me is that , nowadays Muslims are more insular and self-defeating and acting more and more on our own weaknesses rather than our strengths.
A good example is :
As All of us stand in line behind the Imams in prayer and most of the time the Imam will implore us to stand shoulder to shoulder with one another, closer so that Shaitan will not be able to be stand between us. The emphasis should be that if, we stand united in faith and be truthful to Allah SWT, as we pronounce the call to prayer, the Azan and the Qamath, all the Angels as well as the Muslim Jinns and Ummah, will stand behind with us in prayer. They can travel at hundred times the speed of sound to be at our side. You can feel their presence by the sweet warmness on your shoulders as well as the tingling feeling on your shoulders itself. Stay pure and truthful to Allah SWT, one can also hear them recite the Holy Quran and even the ground will sing in praises.
My brothers and sisters in Islam. Allah SWt does not lie, neither does He cheats on his promises. Insha Allah, if we practice what we preach, the Ummah will be the Ummah. Strength for the Individual Muslim and his family, and thereafter the Ummah this is the main mission of Alfatiha.com. It starts with the family and the recitation of the Surah Al fatihah at least 7 times daily…786
Let’s start with the reading of The Holy Surah Al Fatihah 7 times
1. Al Fatihah in loving memory of the Holy Prophet, Muhammad S.A.W
2. Al Fatihah in loving memory and appreciation – All the 24 major and 124,000 minor Prophets - for all their works, efforts, guidance and sacrifices.
3. Al Fatihah in appreciation – all the Prophets Companions as well as those Muslims, fellow sojourners, Imams and all those who died in Iman, for they had lived their lives and passed on as Muslims and shown the Way .
4. Al Fatihah in appreciation – Jibrail, Mikael and all the angels especially so those who are on duty on our left and right shoulders– for the unrelentless duty to Allah S.A.W.
5. Al Fatihah in appreciation for all our fellow human beings – past, present and future, Muslims and non-Muslims, so that we can overcome the influences of the Iblis and his disciples.
6. Al Fatihah – in loving appreciation to our parents – without them there would not be me.
7. Last but not the least Al Fatihah to me, our individual self, so that Allah SWT gives us the strength and iman to overcome the influences of the iblis so that we can later die in Iman.

This section is reserved for stories by Muslims for Muslims. Stories can help inspire Muslims to understand Islam better and to becoming the Ummah. This section is divided into 2 sections.
Section A: Deals with stories of faith, healing and all goody-goody stuff.
Section B: Deals with stories of how Shaitan and his cronies subdue and influence Muslims to do their bidding, destroy your lives and thereafter becoming their slaves and die as slaves of Shaitan and not as “slaves” of Allah.
Section A
Story 1 : This is my story - Hj Md Yusof bin Md Shafi (Singapore)
It was in fields of Arafah, during the 1979 Hajj season. I am not one of those to sit and contemplate. As I was walking in somewhere around edges of the tent city, a lady called out the Salaam. I’d answered and went to her as she called me over. The was only 2 chairs outside the tent and nobody else is around. We sat and talk and talk and talk. After a time, she said it is time for her to be with her friends inside the tent and for her to join her friends readthe Holy Quran. As I reached my tent, I found a couple of the small booklets of Surah Yasin and went back to the tent in question. At the tent’s entrance, I gave the Salaam; once, twice and thrice, since there was no answer, I went in, there was no one, empty, except for the perfumed smell of … I ran out pronto.
A few days later, in Mecca, as I sat there in Masjidil Haram, I asked Allah SWT, if that person that I met is … please allow me to see her on more time. Subhanallah, once as I was performing the tawaf, my head was turned to Hijr Ismail, and there she was praying alone at the center (at a peak period ????), the face was… It was so overwhelming that I put my face downwards, say the zikirallah and continue the tawaf. As I turned the corner again at the edge of Hijr Ismail, I looked up and the whole place was crowded with pilgrims, I felt a certain warmness through my whole body and just continue the tawaf.
On another occasion, as I was contemplating in front of the Holy Kaaba. I raised my hands and asked Allah SWT on where I could see the insides of the Baitullah. I know that some of my ancestors had the privileged to go inside the Holy Kaaba, but for me, just seeing would be enough as I feel that I’m not that “calibre” to be able to go in. Subhanallah, once as I was the performing the tawaf, my head was turned to door of the Holy Kaaba, and it (the door) was opened and I saw the serenity as well as the passage of … Subhanallah.
And on another occasion as I was sitting in the mosque fronting the door of the Holy Kaaba. The door opened and I saw the insides of the Holy Kaaba from where I am siiting as if I am inside the “place” itself.
On another occasion, with the intention (niat) to kiss the Hajr Aswad, somehow I was taught to do it this way. (at that time I did not know it, but 20 years later I found out that my great-great-great-great-great-great-great grand father, Haji Shaharuddin taught me then) As I approached in the usual passage, the niat (profession) was processed with the verbal intent, Ya Allah, with your permission, with the right foot forward every time and words of BismillahiAllahuakbar professed repetitively. The world came back into play, the pushing and nudging and there were times when one hand was on the rim of the Hajr Aswad and the next second I was far away, but never ceased to say… BismillahiAllahuakbar repetitively… patience, practice, patience, continuously profess BismillahiAllahuakbar repetitively... when the heart, mind, body and soul become one and once both hands touch the rim, Subhanallah,
Time Stops, the whole world disappeared, you feel and know that you are alone in this world, and kissed the stone, BismillahiAllahuakbar . As I let go of one hand on the hold, the world came back into play, the pushing and nudging. TIME TRAVEL anybody ??? Allah SWT rewards are immediate and everlasting.
During the Hajj season, All the Prophets are here, 124,000 of them, All the angels are here, all the "Ummah" are here. And immediately after Wukuf, they go back. We are unable to see and even feel them around us because our blood are tainted and not filled zikirallah, so, can we get what Allah SWT promised that He is even closer to us than our blood in our veins. Subhanallah, Allah SWT rewards are immediate and everlasting
Story 2: This is my story - Hj Md Yusof bin Md Shafi (Singapore)
“After the fall of my business in1998, with the huge debts and other problems, I was very troubled. Days turned to months and they turned to years, The inheritance that I was expecting was not coming, though my mother’s other offsprings have already had their interim distribution made amongst themselves, that happens when Muslims mix the Shaariyah Allah’s laws with democracy (man-made laws). One day, as I was praying in this mosque, somehow I felt that my body became lighter. As time goes by, I found out that as I am praying or even when sitting in that mosque, the “ummah” of the mosque will assist taking out of unwanted invaders from the body. After a time, those invaders just flew out of the body before I approached that mosque, because that particular mosque is hell for them, very hot and burning ever on, on and on. Because here, in this mosque, the “Ummah”, Muslim Jinns and other Holy Spirits reads the Quran 24/7. Once, as I was walking towards the mosque, about one hundred metres away, I heard the “Ummah” was in congregation and reading the Quran. I gave the Salaam and it was replied. It was on a frequency that few humans could know let alone hear, I didn't know that it was heard by a Chinese spirit (Ms Mary C) from the temple across the street. It was on a Friday and as the Sermon was given, she peeped into the mosque from the side window. Just imagine, her one eye opened has a diameter of more than 1.7 metres. She followed me home, when asked she said that she needed a favor, to asked for help from the “Old man” whose tomb was at the top of the hill, on whether she could be like the “Ummah” whose pretty face are “thirtyish”-looking” fully dressed, forever on and on reading and having the “book” Holy Quran on the right hand and the tasbih on the left.” So my brothers and sisters in Islam,
Your choice :
There is a saying in Islam
* When a person dies, his book is closed except 3 things:
i) His monetary donations in this world
ii) His blessed children who will pray for him
iii) His good deeds performed when he was alive
OR
* Innas salati wanusuki…
whereby if does not die in Iman, he will die in Non-Iman and when died in non-iman he’d died in limbo i.e. become a ghost. Once there, Is there a way back???
Since Allah SWT said that the gates of forgiveness would only be closed when the gong is sounded signaling the coming of the Day of Judgment.
Story No 3: As told to Hj Md Yusof (Singapore)
This lady was born a Sikh and embraced Islam when she married a Muslim.
“ It was in Masjid Nabawi in Medina. As I was sitting and reading the Holy Quran, my face was turned upwards towards the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s tomb. There was a vision of a man, about 7 feet tall, light reddish fair skin, curly hair, fully dressed, holding the Holy Quran and staff on one hand and the tasbih on the other smiling at me. There was a glow from the whole image that is indescribable. He smiled at me and movements of the mouth suggested it was the Salaam and I heard it in thought as the Salaam. After I replied in full (softly), the vision disappeared.” To the people of the Sikh religion. I thank you for bringing up this child of purity. I believe that she was brought up putting the faith way in front before self. I have a favour to ask, since your temple also have the onion shaped dome like ours. Be the middle man in the Barbuk mosque/Hindu temple dispute. The older generation of Chinese in Singapore recognize the religion/human relation conundrum. That was why most Chinese temples were built near or next to mosques. None the more evident is the Lorong K Telok Kurau Abdul Aleem Siddique mosque and a Chinese temple next door and the Palmer Road Hj Md Salleh Mosque and the Chinese temple across the street. “Spirits” in the other world can live side by side in peace, so should the human beings. Singapore so-called economic miracle is based on this simple formula. Islam and Muslims are respected. Their beliefs and traditions are respected too. Propose that both the houses of worship be built near each other. Insha Allah India can be a great nation, just like the times of the Moghul Empire.
Story No 4 : As told to Hj Md Yusof (Singapore)
It was in Muzdalifah in the Hajj season. As I was trying to alight from the bus to gather stones for the Mina rituals, a lady with 2 small children cried out and asked me whether I could also assist her in collecting the stones. I answered in the positive. As I walk down the bus walkway, several other fellow old pilgrims also requested. As I alighted from the bus, I’d recounted no less than seven different pilgrims asked for assistance and with me it is eight and multiplied by 70 stones per pilgrim it is 560 stones. On seeing the other pilgrims walked in all directions, I sort of panic. It was at night and even with the big lights installed, goats’ feaces under the desert environment looked and feel like stones. After gaining composure, I went to the back of the bus, kneel down and ask Allah SWT for help. As I picked up a few stones and do the natural thing, i.e. trying to dig in, more stones become visible, again I scratch the surface, more stones become visible, and it is as if the stones just floated to the surface. I got more than 800 stones was the first to return to the bus. Later on the stones were divided in the tents of Mina Al-Mukaramah.
Story No 5 : Hj Md Yusof bin Md Shafi (Singapore)
I was told by the “Old Man” whose tomb was at the top of the hill to go to see this former well-known civil servant who recovering from a double heart by pass operation and not recovering well. Teach him how to zikir 24/7 and also since his energy is weak, walk slowly to the mosque that is within walking distance from his house, gave the salaam everytime and asked the Ummah Muslim Jinn named Taufik there to assist him. Overtime he’ll be welcomed at his mosqueand also he’ll come and visit from time to time. When I visited him and informed him of the offer, he cried. Never could he believe that this is possible. When told he is under his watchful “eyes” all this time, he cried saying that when he was a kid , he went to the tomb and mosque only for the gifts of free food since he was an orphan. AT that point of time, the pain was excruciating whenever he swallows his saliva. Alhamdullillah, he recovered after a couple of months.” This person, named HG, has since passed away peacefully, without much pain, he preferred to be near his family, so he is is still there at Maideen mosque (Singapore – Kampong Kembangan) I did not know whether he‘d did manage to pass on the information to his “anak2 buah” Since he was heavily involved with the re-habitation programme for addicts. The other offer was for these rehab addicts. Come to the mosque often, there is a sort-of force shield encircling the mosque, shaitan and evil spirits cannot enter the mosque. If you go there often enough, the spirits (I can guarantee that they were formerly drug addicts themselves) inside your bodies, will leave their “homes” permanently. The ex-addicts will only have to deal with their desires. This story in itself is reason enough for us to start a kindergarten there. My fellow brothers and sisters in Islam, the Hj Md Salleh mosque @ palmer road is full of blessings given to us as Muslims, that I feel it is ashamed for us to dismiss the place as just another mosque. As for myself, I used to hate, yes hate my mother for bringing me there often as I was growing up. I do not like to climb up those stairs. Well I think this website in itself is my testament to my experiences.
Story no 6: As told to Hj Md Yusof (Singapore)
“ An elderly man who is a volunteer worker at the above-mentioned mosque had heard too many a story, but since he had to go for a balloon insertion to his heart valve, he was looking forward to meeting the story-teller for more than 2 months, wanting to ask for his blessings. Throughout this tense period of 2 months, the story-teller did not go to that mosque, this old man remain steadfast and prayed and prayed and prayed at that mosque. After several days of doing the wirid and prayers, he felt a warm hand holding his left hand, upon turning his head, he cannot see anyone but he still felt the warmness of the hand. That touch gave him the boost and faith in that Allah SWT is with those who hold faith in Islam. The operation was a success. Usually, a man takes 2 hours or more to recover from the anesthesia . This old man aged 62 years old took only 45 minutes to recover consciousness and walk. Nowadays, he told me that sometimes he feel unworthy because whenever he enters the mosque, so many of them, “the ulamas” would shake his hand and tap his shoulders.
Subhanallah. My brothers and sisters in Islam, lets build a kindergarten there as a base, with two other places (i.e. at Ba’alwi mosque and Temmengong mosque at Telok Blangah). The 4th cornerstone mosque will be us, 400,000 of the Muslims in Singapore.
After that we expand to 3 more places,
1) the mosque at Bandar Baru Uda in Johor, Malaysia.
2) The “Egg” mosque in the Riau province, Indonesia
3) The mosque in the town of Gadong, Brunei, Darussalam.
Thereafter we’ll expand further.
InshaAllah we ‘ll have the next generations of Muslims who will be Doctors and Scientists to help cure cancer and the like. Astronomers, who will prove that the Solar system has 11 planets as dreamt by the Holy Prophet Yusof (Joseph), Read The Holy Quran, surah Yusof Scientists, Astronomers, professors, researchers who will make we the Muslims proud. Insha Allah they will make space travel for Muslims. After all, The Holy Prophet Muhammad was the first man to step foot on the moon (as in the Israk and Mikraj i.e the Ascension to the Heavens). From then till now, there was only one Muslim who had done space travel, a passenger on the space shuttle. My brothers and sisters in Islam, let’s do this...
May Allah Bless Us in all our endeavours. Insya Allah.
